The Negro Foundation, created in Rome in 1991 in compliance with Articles 12 and 116 of the Civil Code and aimed at spreading knowledge of homeopathy and promoting the study of the human being as an individual, undertakes cultural and scientific work through the organisation of conferences as well as the publication, collection and preservation of books and documents. The foundation envisages cooperation with universities, research centres, public and private institutions, associations and foundations. It also awards scholarships and promotes humanitarian initiatives. (Art. 2).
In 2007, following an initiative by Antonio Negro, the foundation sponsored the creation of the Museum of Homeopathy – Italian Historical Archive, which it also manages.
The foundation has made available to scholars the Medical Library and the family Archives.
